6250 SF, Adaptive Re-Use – Artist Studio and Gallery

Chris Mosey engaged Elemi in the fall 0f 2007 to design

his new gallery and studio / shop space. Elemi worked closely with Chris to create a layout that met his needs for administration, production, fabrication, shipping and display space. Elemi helped coordinate the planning of theses spaces to include all of the equipment that would be relocated for Ignis.

The design process also included extensive alteration to the existing exterior walls to increase the amount of natural daylight and create a more attractive storefront.

The build-out of the space was performed by Collier Construction, and was completed in May 2008.
